Scoring
After a shooter has finished on the firing line his or her target goes to a few parents outside who take the liberty of scoring for everyone. There is an ongoing bet that any new shooter who can shoot a perfect 50 in their first year, will receive a banana split. Only a few have ever achieved such a thing.
Challenges- When a shooter feels that a shot fired has been improperly scored, or counted, he may challenge. Usually there is a "challenge period" after every match, to ensure that all competitors who want to challenge a target can, and their score will be corrected before the final results are posted. Occasionally a small sum of money must be laid down for a "challenge fee", if the shooter wins the challenge, he gets his money back.
